It appears to me that advanced Photoshop users love to share their amazing and unique talents and because of this I have learned so much over the years. For that I am grateful.
Now it's your turn!
You may not be able to personally thank the individual who helped you improve your techniques but you can sure thank them by sharing your skills with others who are where you were some time ago.
This is the essence of "Pay It Forward".
The world of Photoshop is huge and there are so many different and unique methods to achieve a particular outcome. Don't you think it will be great to learn new and different techniques from other "photoshop'ers from all over the world?
The following instructions will provide you with all the information you need.
InstructionsPlease outline the exact steps from opening your file to completion. It is best to do the technique at the same time that you are entering the information so that no steps are missed.
(It is really frustrating to follow a Photoshop Tutorial and find a step is missed or garbled.)
I want the final result of your tutorial to look like
this
so please make sure each individual step is clearly defined. This will make it easier for me to get your tutorial on its own page as soon as possible.
If you are using a screen recorder to post this technique on YouTube or some other video hosting site then include the Embed URL in the Steps box (below). Please include it after the step-by-step instructions.
If you are not sure how to create a screen recording (but would like to include one) you can download a free version called CamStudio or a 30 day trial of Camtasia.
You may have to download some small additional files if you are using CamStudio but Camtasia works fine just as it is.
(If you have any questions about Screen Recording please let me know via the Contact Page.)
Pictures
The pictures you upload need to be less than 100K in size and no more than 400 pixels in width. It is relatively easy to resize them in Photoshop.
It is also nice to have screen shots of the dialog settings if you can provide them.
Most of us without any formal Photoshop or Painter training have learned a lot of techniques on our own. More importantly, we have learned some really neat techniques from someone else either on-line or in person.
This is your chance to thank them by Paying It Forward and sharing the tutorial or technique with others.
Your submission can be a technique in Photoshop Elements, Photoshop full version, Paint Shop Pro, Painter Essentials or Painter full version. For that matter, you can use pretty much any digital editing or drawing program.
