Painter Set-Up

Painter Set-Up Screen

This is a screen shot of the Painter set-up and the butterfly loaded and partially painted.

This is how it is set-up:

  1. The brush is Digital Watercolor chosen from the brush drop-down menu.

  2. The brush type is Broad Water Brush.

  3. The color was chosen by tapping with the pen (or clicking with a mouse) on the Color Wheel and further refined by moving the circle around in the Triangle inside the color wheel.

  4. Painting is done on a Layer to preserve the original artwork. The layer was added by clicking on the right icon at the bottom of the layer palette. (Note: It is not necessary to use a layer and you can paint directly on the artwork if you wish. Just make sure you have a back-up copy of your original file.)

  5. Zooming in and out is accomplished by moving the Zoom Slider left and right. The Zoom Slider is at the bottom left corner of the window.

Once you have the set-up complete you can start painting!
