Face picture

Face drawing Jims face

These three drawings were done in about one minute with a Graphire by three different people.

It was the first time these artists had used a Graphire tablet and they were very impressed by the smoothness of the tablet and by the changes in opacity of the pencil strokes.

Kevin's Poster A DJ friend named Kevin did this poster for a gig he was doing. He said it took him a couple of hours with his Graphire.

Kevin is a fanatic about the Wacom line of tablets and wonders how anyone who does digital art could live without a tablet! Kevin has now graduated to a 6X8 Intuos tablet.

Gills Pear Another friend, named Gil, painted this in a couple of hours with his Graphire.

The first time he was the Graphire in action he was amazed and now it is the main part of his digital art tool box.

Patrick Roy This digital painting took more than a few minutes, for sure.

The artist told me he worked on it for a few evenings before he was satisfied with the end results.

It is a painting of NHL goalie Patrick Roy in his Montreal Canadians uniform on the right side and his Colorado Avalanche uniform on the left side.

It is an impressive painting completed with a Graphire and an older version of Photoshop.

Cintiq This quick painting was completed on a Wacom Cintiq, a tablet I have not included in this site. A Cintiq is an LCD screen and the artist draws directly on the screen.

It is an awesome unit which appeals to everyone but the price point dictates that the primary users are Professional Digital artists and and Professional Photographers.

The gentleman who did this painting spent about two minutes working with Painter on the Cintiq.

I could only stand and stare in utter amazement!
