A QUESTION

by MRS COLQUHOUN
(SCOTLAND UK)

I've just installed Paint Shop Pro X2. Really looking forward to using it. I know absolutely nothing!!! However, I've found this site and (at last) found somebody who goes slow in explaining and easy to follow - gold star!!!!

My problem? I recently attended my daughter's wedding in Sydney and I bought a camcorder before I went to attempt to 'capture' the moment. I hasten to add, I don't know anything about video either but I'll tackle that later.

I have captured stills from this video (following the camera's instructions) and while some are 'not bad', others obviously have some movement due to being 'captured' from a video. That's not my problem although if you know how to sort or improve that, I'd be grateful.

My problem is that I ran the video throughout the wedding meal but although the 'captured' stills early on (when it was light) are not bad, the 'captured' stills during the speeches (when it was dark outside and lighting in the restaurant wasn't too great) are pretty dark.

Basically, how do I salvage (if possible) these dark 'captured' stills. I suppose you could say 'underexposed' but then I'm no pro - long way off!!!
